In His final words before ascending to Heaven, Jesus said:
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have taught you; and I am with you always, even to the end of the age.Matthew 28:19–20
At First United Methodist Church, one of the most visible ways we live this out is close to home: First UMC Preschool has been a cornerstone of early childhood education in Elizabethton for over 75 years, forming young hearts and minds and building relationships with families across our community.
As part of the worldwide United Methodist Church, we also join in the connectional missions of our denomination, supporting ministry and relief efforts both here in the United States and around the world.
